Agreement between NAJMAH and WFP to build the capacities of the unemployed
The National Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition (Najmah) and the World Food Programme signed, today, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD), an agreement to implement a training program to build the capacity of 1,500 unemployed people and qualify them for the labor market.
The agreement was signed in the presence of HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal, chairperson of the National Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition (Najmah), her deputy, former Minister Ali Al-Ghazawi, and deputy country director of the World Food Program Jonathan Campbell.
Her Highness stressed the importance of the partnership between the WFP and NAJMAH, and building on the successes achieved by the continuous cooperation between the two sides in fighting hunger, enhancing food security and combating unemployment, praising the experiences gained by the two sides in directing their cooperation programs towards the targeted groups and communities most in need of assistance.
